Launchers Academy: training and conveying passion

ArianeGroup has its own corporate university for on-going learning: the Launchers Academy. With vast expertise in the space industry and launchers, it is a powerful instrument for enhancing employees’ skills.

In a very competitive space industry, upskilling is a means to stand out as a company. The Launchers Academy aims to provide ArianeGroup employees with training opportunities throughout their careers. The academy’s identity is grounded in the following vital elements: the importance of skills management; training plans well-suited to meet employee requirements; the key role of our 400 in-house instructors; development of experts, crucial for knowledge transfer; the role of production schools and on-the-job training based on mentoring; an accent on online learning.

Our young engineers and technicians are the driving forces of tomorrow. ArianeGroup’s highly advanced technological activities need expertise and talent, which the Group continuously promotes, nurtures and regenerates. Every year, we hire more than 400 interns and work-study trainees. Our apprentice recruitment campaign begins in March for apprenticeships starting in September and October. Intern recruitment begins in October for six-month internships which usually run from January to June. These young hires — apprentices and interns — are a valuable way to prepare for the future. Tutors are assigned to support them on their learning journey and help future talent thrive.
